In October 2008 JSC “Eltra-Termo” and JSC “Likhoslavl Radiator Plant” open joint-stock companies were reorganized into the production company Pramotronic. The company’s scope of activity is focused on the development, manufacturing, sales and maintenance service of modern climatic systems and systems of independent heating and cooling of vehicles engines for the commercial transport, the buses and special equipment. The promotion of products on the market is the business of “Trade House Pramotronic” LLC and “Eltra-Termo” LLC. Currently JSC “Pramotronic” closed joint-stock company offers the following products :

• - Radiators of cooling systems for passenger and commercial automobiles engines made of copper brass and aluminum;
• - Radiators of cabin heaters;
• - Rolled, aluminum oil coolers;
• - Supercharged air cooling heat exchangers;
• - Autonomous pre-starting liquid heaters Pramotronic, having heat productivity range of 11.5 to 35 kW and voltage 12 and 24 V, depending on the type of motor transportation vehicle operated on diesel fuel;
• - Air heaters Pramotronic, designated to heat the driver’s cabin and the cabin of various vehicles;
• - Torch heaters used in road and building equipment, designated to warm up the working parts of machines and plants, road covering bitumen and buildings’ roof covering, tanks with liquids, where the work with open fire is acceptable;
• - Liquid electric pumps, with productivity of 1500 to 5800 l/h, applied in any motor vehicle where it is required to pump over cooling liquids. To be used in combination with heaters.

Chosen as another strategic direction in the development of enterprise is the development of production of large copper brass radiators for trucks and special equipment. At the expense of in-depth modernization of production and technological processes the significant improvement of the quality of manufactured products is expected. During the last year eight new articles have been mastered by the enterprise; these are the components for UralAZ, KamAZ, GAZ automobiles and NefAZ buses. There has been arranged a facility mounting heat exchangers into a uniform assembly unit that includes the supercharged air cooler heat exchangers, the radiator of the engine cooling system, the necessary elements of the frame and the mounting brackets. Depending on the model the units’ bundle includes oil coolers, power steering coolers, tubes and hoses with pre-installed clamps, doors, shutters, the fan casing and other elements of design. At present eight models of units are supplied to the assembly-lines of JSC KamAZ and JSC UralAZ. The work is underway with other customers. Preparation has been completed for the manufacturing of radiators LR63501 for JSC KamAZ and LR6212 for Likino Bus Plant, and it is planned to complete works under the project of a supercharged air cooling radiator LP43085 for KamAZ. Irrespective of what will be the automotive radiator (aluminum or copper brass) and whether it will be basically present on the car, the managers of JSC “Likhoslavl Radiator Plant” have a distinct view of the situation evolving in the automotive components market and do their best to hold the enterprise in the future as well as a highly profitable, competitive and having products in demand by the consumers.

History of the enterprise and the current activity of JSC “Eltra-Termo” open joint-stock company.

JSC “Eltra-Termo” has been founded in 1999 in the city of Rzhev. The enterprise is specialized on the manufacturing of pre-starting heaters and electric pumps for various kinds of motor vehicles. Initially manufacturing of heaters under Webasto license has been mastered. By and by the model line evolved, proprietary design changes were introduced. Now these are the products of own development. The assortment and the number of modifications used for various kinds of equipment have considerably expanded. Now JSC “Eltra-Termo” is a large modern enterprise. The production facilities are situated in the city of Rzhev. Old workshops have been reconstructed; new modern equipment has been mounted. The industrial cooperation system covers geography from Korea to the countries of European Union. The products put out at the plant are distinguishable for high quality and reliability of operation. The combination of these factors is decisive in selecting “Eltra-Termo” products by major Russian automakers. As of 2007 the quality management system is certified for conformity to the requirements of standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 with regard to the designing and manufacturing of components for the automotive industry. In August 2009 there has been a repeated audit which confirmed the conformity of enterprise to the standards. In 2010 the certification by TS 16949 is planned. All products manufactured by the enterprise are certified in accordance with the Federal Law No. 184-FZ “On technical regulation”, the Regulations “System of certification GOST R” and “Systems of certification of mechanical vehicles and trailers” and have certificates of conformity attesting safety of the products, guaranteeing conformity of articles to the requirements of statutory documents.

The products of the company have the European certificate of conformity with environmental standards. Today among the long-term partners of the company are KamAZ, MAZ, Tver Excavator Plant and Altay Excavator Plant, the bus makers LiAZ, NefAZ and many others. The technical department of the enterprise carries on the permanent work both to improve the manufactured models of products, and to develop new ones. In close interaction with the major Russian automakers tests are conducted of new units and assemblies. At present on the manufactured products line are liquid pre-starting heaters of series 15 (24 V) and series 151 (12 V) for trucks (MAZ, KamAZ, Ural etc), series 141 and series 143 for buses of medium and large class and trucks (NefAZ, LiAZ), torch heaters of series 144 for the special equipment – the tractors, asphalt spreaders, bitumen carriers etc, and also the circulation liquid electric pumps with various productivity. Since September 2009 the production enterprise has mastered serial manufacturing of Pramotronic air heaters with heat productivity of 4 kW. The design is a proprietary invention. The designs of the heat exchanger and the combustion chamber are original and have no analogues in world practice of making such units and are protected by a number of patents. JSC “Eltra-Termo” guarantees trouble-free operation of products for 12 months from the date of delivery provided that the rules specified in the Operation Manual and the Product Certificate are observed. The malfunctions recognized as warranty covered shall be remedied by authorized service Partners of the company. The Maintenance Service of the company provides certificated service centers across all Russia and abroad with units and spare parts, carries out warranty service, also the training of employees of service centers is carried out on the installation, repair and servicing of pre-starting heaters. Now underway is training of experts on the installation of units with a mounting complete set on a motor vehicle, the preventive and maintenance service of units with the issuing of certificates.
